More Then Just a Table and Chairs

We're saying goodbye to those old friends today, which have been with Bb and me together for almost 30 years and with Bb for longer. He bought them 2nd hand from a friend in Edinburgh who lived, by chance, in the street where we first met. It was our dining table in Edinburgh and then Barcelona in two dfferent flats and then in our current house. When we moved back from our travels from Brasil, London and Budapest with more belongings from each place, we bought a new dining table and chairs and this one was put upstairs in what became an upstairs sitting room. We're now upgrading ourselves back into this upstairs front room and reclaiming it as our bedroom. It's much bigger than the one we use at the moment and has a lovely balcony, which will become only for our use. I was very keen to find a new home for it and was delighted when our neighbour Laura, across the passageway expressed interest and tomorrow it will be taken across. She's a young mother with her husband and two little girls and it will become their family table. Nice! It goes with lots of good karma!
