Whales!

We went on a whale watching tour out of Port Townsend today. It was pretty stormy when we left and the boat was tossed around quite a bit. We toured through the San Juan Islands, saw seals and bald eagles. Had two hours for lunch in Friday Harbor, then back on board to look for whales. We stopped near a large group of sea birds, they feed on the small fish that the whales gather. We waited and sure enough a Minke Whale surfaced.
