South Docks Marine Life
Today I left London and returned to the airfield. I was pretty sad to leave my sister but I have lots of friends at the airfield who I saw when I got back, and I will see Charlotte when she comes to visit on Saturday. I can't wait!
I did some shopping on the way back which was useful, and then said hello to my friends and helped them out with some equipment. Finally, I spent the evening washing up at the local pub. It's a nice place to work and everyone there is really friendly. On Tuesday I'll be working behind the bar and waitressing for the first time which I'm looking forward to!
Right now I'm in bed with a hit chocolate and talking to a friend about blipfoto and my gratitude lists. He said I'm a happy person and I said I'm just very lucky and have a lot to be happy about!
This photo was taken near where my sister lives. I like seeing the boats because it reminds me of sitting by the harbour in Cornwall on holiday.
Things I am grateful for today
- my loving sister who always looks after me and let me stay over, use her stuff and eat her food!
- my friends at the airfield for being so friendly and kind and giving me lifts to and from work
- having a job, I am fortunate to be able to work and provide for myself
- friendly people I work with
- hot chocolate and bed with a good book after working!
- public transport. Can be slow but allows me to travel to London and back home to see my family which is pretty amazing when you think about it and I am lucky to be able to go all over the place and still get back home
...following on from that, I'm lucky to have so many places I can call home.
Good night! X
