Abstract Thursday - Vegetable Star

Fortunately, I checked the weather forecast before leaving work today, and had decided not to stop for photos on the way home:  a large black cloud followed me up the M3, and when I popped into the supermarket for dinner, it dumped its payload of rainwater.

So instead I bought some interesting veg and headed home to set up a shot I could practise my PS skills on for Ingeborg's Abstract Thursday.  The vegetables are a squash and rainbow carrots.  I duplicated and rotated the image to create a circle, to which the sphere filter was applied and a new background added. 

I managed to lockup the PS workspace several times, and at one point lost all the toolbars - I still don't know how - but I think I'm beginning to get the feel of layers and masks!
