Run for cover!

While out this evening with Rona, I turned a corner and was confronted with this. Being only five minutes from home I decided to just go for it and made it by the skin of my teeth. Proper stair rods it was, visibly bouncing off the paving slabs!
Fortunately, as is the way of these things, it didn't last too long and drier conditions came along in a half hour or so.
That said, I am just looking out the window and possibly we are about to get a reprise!
