Morning Sky

I captured another dramatic sky this morning…around 7:30, fabulous clouds. It is almost an obsession now, looking skyward and thinking “now that would make a nice blip”.

Later we went out with our daughter and granddaughter to Nunnington Hall in North Yorkshire. There is an exhibition of the work of children's author and illustrator Nick Sharratt. There are some wonderful interactive bits and plenty of opportunities to draw, colour and read his books. Jessica had a lovely time, and after walking up the stairs to the third floor of the hall and having a run around in the gardens she was exhausted.

After a late lunch in a nearby cafe, which was very nice, we headed home and Jessica fell asleep within minutes in the car and slept all the way home, something she hasn't done for ages now.
