Swan Family on the canal near the cafe.

It is always a great joy to see the swans and their cygnets elegantly gliding along the water.
I was down beside the café this morning where they preen for about half an hour and shed lots of gorgeous fluffy white feathers. They wait in the hope of some bread from the café owner.I do not feed them as white bread is not good for wildbirds, and dry oats are better.
The collage is the result of standing in the drizzle for half an hour, but it was wonderful to watch the performance of the cygnets.
