Heidi

My granddaughter has a new baby cousin called Heidi.

I mentioned to her that the name always reminds me of the book I loved when I was about her age.

That prompted me to wonder if I still had it and sure enough I do.
I was even right about the age. 
Inside it says it was presented to me at primary school in 1959. I had forgotten that.

Elizabeth must be more advanced than I was as it looks a bit young for her now. 
She might have to read it to Adelaide.
