The Belt Man

Pete, The Belt Man.

Retired as a Manager in the Supermarket business in Chicago, Pete was looking for something to do after moving to Arizona.

He had purchased a belt at a local market. The belt cracked after a couple of weeks and the seller wouldn't replace it saying "I don't make them, I only sell them." Pete then became interested in making belts.

He purchased a machine that cuts, embosses, and sews belts. He left the machine in Chicago and his daughter runs the belt-making operation. Pete travels around to Farmers Markets, Festivals, and other gatherings and sells a very high quality product.

We had a nice visit today at the Arizona 77 Marketplace Farmer's Market.
