Torchtastic!

At AG the Olympic dreams and legacy is still very much in evidence! As we were unable to have our Sport's Afternoon due to weather last term, we decided to have a fun Sports afternoon and BBQ early this term (today) instead, inviting back our Year 6s.

Well what a really perfect afternoon/evening it was. The sun shone with our very own Olympic Torch relay which involved all the children and parents. We were very lucky to have the use of a real Olympic Torch due to the fact that one of our parents was a torch bearer.

It was amazing to see how excited both children and adults still were to have an opportunity to hold (and even run) with the torch!

A cheerful end to what has been a bit of a difficult week.
