Contrasts

Today's blip is inspired by Kathy in Vermont.  Yesterday she observed that even in winter New Zealand can look green and sunny.  A walk around the garden and I found this fern unfurling it's green glory.  A slightly depressing walk because I could see all the work still to be done.
