Happy Birthday Kate

There are not many people I know who would be happy to be photographed in their garage, but Kate and John Robinson's garage is a joy to behold. It is full of all sorts of useful things AND they are kept in a well ordered manner. It is immaculate.

Kate has just had her 70th birthday - you wouldn't guess would you? She is one of our walking group, so today's walk was led by John and Kate with refreshments back at their house. I just went for the refreshments because Aggie is not able to go walking yet.

Kate had rigged up a makeshift rail for coats, in case everyone was soaking wet. John has a terrible reputation for taking us walking on very wet days. In the event, the rain at the start had not continued and the walkers were dry(ish).

It was lovely to see lots of people, including those I've just spent 10 days with on holiday. The food was good too.

I sent the last images off for printing today. I just have to wait now to see how they turn out. It's very exciting.
