In the garden at L'enclume

The birthday boy, having a wee stroll before our dinner date. We came here to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary in December 2014, and thought it worth coming back to try the summer tasting menu having greatly enjoyed the winter one. We drove up from Hemel in the morning and arrived to a beautiful sunny afternoon. Our room had access to the garden and the river which we put to good, enjoying a wee glass of fizz and some nibbles in the sunshine before the main event.
