Gone to Seed

We set off bright and early this morning for a very gloomy and wet trip down the motorway to the  South...

We arrived a little later, still in the rain, at our chosen destination without too many hiccups on route and got a very warm welcome from BlackTulip and JJ (Even though we were early!)

We've had a lovely afternoon looking at all manner of printed material backed up by internet research and then we went a walk!  We have now experienced BlackTulip's Ridge walk but unfortunately the wetness seems to have kept many of the butterflies at home.  I was rather attracted by this seed head and although it was moving quite a lot, I proved more successful at capturing this than the butterflies that deigned to appear!  You will have to go to BlackTulip for Butterfly evidence I think!

Anyway, on the other matter, we have had a very successful day!  You will have to wait and see what we have been getting up to!  What larks!
