Faith Restored

I've mentioned a few times on Blip that I don't like it when people aren't friendly to each other, even if they are strangers. Even this week I found it quite sad when passing people in the street they would not return a smile or say hello back to me.

Well today my faith was restored a little bit. We went to do our normal weekly 'big shop' at Morrison's and found our favourite bread was out of stock. So, begrudgingly, we pick another and went to ask the baker to slice it for us. To our surprise he replied with 'I noticed your usual was running low so kept one aside for you, here you go...'

What a nice guy! He often has a friendly hello for us as we are always in at the same time but for him to go that extra step and be keeping an eye out for us made me smile.
