Sand and sky
Miles of sandy beach with hardly a person. This is Wissant, close to Calais. We walked for about 3 miles while the tide was out and it was warm and sunny. On our return it was high tide and began to rain.
We had a late lunch in a brasserie overlooking the sea and watched the sandcastles being washed away, and the huge waves crashing over the rocks.
The extra is the old disused mill in the town.
Now awaiting our Euro tunnel train departure for our return to kent.
