Tarella Cottage
Tarella cottage, Wentworth Falls, was built by Sydney solicitor John McLaughlin in 1890 as a holiday cottage for his family of four children to escape the heat of Sydney summers.
His daughter Beryl left the house and land to the historical society when she died in 1988 at the age of 99.
The cottage contains a collection of memorabilia of the late 19th and early 20th centuries is one of the oldest, if not the oldest, preserved buildings in Wentworth Falls.
I was at a loss to find something to shoot starting with J or Y so I decided on Tarella, which is just around the corner from home. I know this is pushing it, but there are 4 verandah posts and 4 windows on the facade and 4 letters in July.
Thanks Bob Blip for hosting the challenge.
