Codnor Castle

When I went to see my friend in Nottingham today she asked if I could drive her to IKEA as she needed to return something.  Well, I hadn't been there for quite a while so it was an enjoyable outing, and of course I ended up buying something.... how could I not?

Back home, quick eat and change before going out again to join my Ramblers' group's  evening walk to Codnor Castle, a very pleasant five and a half miles, followed by a swift half.  I don't seem to have done very much walking this summer - partly because I've been doing more climbing - so it was really nice to catch up with other members of the group.
