Pollok Country Park

The promised sunshine failed to put in an appearance today but the lack of sun didn't keep the tourists, cyclists, dog walkers and families with youngsters from enjoying their morning in Pollok Park.

The extra photo is Pollok House which is now in the hands of The National Trust for Scotland.


After my walk through the park I did a bit of shopping on my way home ... then, in the afternoon I fetched my ladder and gave my viburnum bodentase a well needed haircut. The results are not perfect but the tree looks much better now that the spiky growth has gone.
