Ladybird

Taken on today's Bess walk. She has behaved impeccably today. Oh apart from an unscheduled and unapproved poo on the lawn this morning, and being such a wimp at the river that the stick floated away before she could catch it and was probably half way to Bristol by the time she had bothered to go after it. Oh and flushing a couple of embarrassed looking pheasants out of the long grass.
Speaking of poo, can someone explain what is the point of scented poo bags?? If they're empty they don't smell, and if they're used then a waft of fake citrus is unlikely to improve things is it? I took them back and went and  paid twice as much for plain ones. Waitrose. The more upmarket the shop the less you get, but they are eco friendly!
I seem to have mentioned poo rather a lot. I'll try not to do so again.
