Staring

On my monthly trip to see a friend in Widnes I stopped off to find a geocache in Frodsham. It was in a wooded area sandwiched between playing fields and the M56. It may not sound a promising location but it was thriving with insects and butterflies so I had plenty to blip and this was my favourite picture. I presume it is some sort of hover fly but I can't tell from this angle.
