Isaac Watts

Time, like an ever rolling stream,
Bears all its sons away;
They fly, forgotten, as a dream
Dies at the opening day.

Although being the leading hymn writer of his generation, Watts also wrote a book on Logic, published in 1724.   Its title?

Logic, or The Right Use of Reason in the Enquiry After Truth With a Variety of Rules to Guard Against Error in the Affairs of Religion and Human Life, as well as in the Sciences.

Catchy, eh?      Fortunately his hymns were more poetic!
