Great meeting up with Marcus, a dear friend who does so much for children, young people and families in his neighbourhood of Collier Row. We meet up from time to time to chat things through, solve the problems of the world, dream up ridiculously adventurous plans for the future, and sometimes see them happen. Today’s dreams include mentoring those excluded from mainstream education, chaplaincies, leading pastoral work in schools, setting up new communities of faith, supporting schools through governorship, curriculum support, assemblies and even school maintenance, homework clubs, residentials, sports academies and ……… being a good neighbour. Great fun, great ideas, huge hope & big hearts.
