Peninsula Light

By PeninsulaLight

Near the (narrow) end of Loch Hourn, on another beautiful day. After the lunch stop here, to paddle back down the sea loch, and finish the weekend's adventure at Arnisdale. Well, plus drive home... which is always a bit deflating.

Extras:
 - track around to Barrisdale Bay.
 - last night's camp site.
 - a few of the wild flowers in bloom near the campsite. The flower ID book will be consulted shortly... to add a few possiblities!
 Top left -
Top centre - Tormentil (Potentilla erecta)
Top right - Orchid (don't ask me what type!)
 Bottom left -
Bottom centre - Vetch (still to check the type)
Bottom right - Common Butterwort, a carnivorous plant. Pollinators aren't harmed... unless they land on those sticky leaves at the base.
