North Berwick

A fabulous sunny day for a trip to North Berwick with friends. The boys all played for 4 hours digging holes and in the sea, they would only leave when bribed with ice cream (us mums were really wanting our trip to the steampunk cage!). After a nice slice of salted caramel cake and a delicious coffee we headed bank to watch the waves for a bit! Top school holidays day!
Once home headed into garden to dig up cool purple potatoes that had got blight - before they rot in the ground. And to crop some lettuce and purple freckled green beans. Potatoes and salad for tea :-) C loved the purple pots, D said they are just as horrid as normal potatoes! He really isn't a fan :-D
