Sunset from Kiloran Bay, Isle of Colonsay

A spectacular sunset ended another fabulous day on the island of Colonsay.

Again the weather was amazing - cloudless blue sky and sunshine all day - so we settled in for another day on the beach where we sunbathed, read, paddled, and picnicked. After lunch I assisted Mr hazelh as he diverted the course of a stream that runs across the sand and into the sea with a new series of sand barriers and channels.

We cycled down to the Colonsay Hotel for supper again, stopping at the beach on our return journey to capture the sunset as blipped above, and in the extra.

Exercise today: walking to the beach and back (~an hour), 14 miles of tandem riding.
