London
I went to London today with my daughter and granddaughter as it was Victoria’s six-week check-up. The surgeon was very pleased with her; she is now allowed to put thirty kilograms of weight onto the leg instead of twenty. She is to continue to do her exercises, plus some extra ones and in two more weeks can full weight bear as well as go down to one crutch, which she must continue to use until her final check-up at the beginning of September. This will be just in time for her to start her new apprenticeship the following week.
Before her appointment we met with a friend for lunch and on the way back to the underground station I photographed this stature of John F Kennedy. I have no idea why it is placed here and did not have time to investigate.
