Before the Book Club

An engrossing day at work. Managing the pressure for admissions a the start of the day. A discharge meeting in the Mother Baby Unit. The weekly team meeting for the Unit with community services. Providing a second opinion. Clinical Governance meeting. And writing notes.

Despite walking between the different places I walk a number of times, there was no opportunity to use my camera. Got home to watch the sun approach the horizon, producing grand colours and striking crepuscular rays. 

Tonight, I host the six weekly meeting of the Blokes Book Club. Helped in the preparations by S, who has now gone with friends to a poetry reading. Next month the two book clubs (hers and mine), along with a few others, are gathering to read aloud Under Milk Wood.
