Hot One

Usually, the hot doldrums of summer don't hit until August, but they seem to be here already.
I was cranky after having to walk to Freddie's a second time. I forgot to buy a lemon for zest in the blueberry pie I'm baking for my sister.
It seemed like they only reluctantly put out these few plants hoping we customers would be cheered by them. Can't imagine why anyone would've bought any today.
