Aberdeen from the air

Flight up from Singapore was, as always, long but I did sleep a bit. Heathrow Airport was terrible for transferring between flights (even worse than usual queues at immigration and security). It was a pleasure to have some nice aerial views of Scotland on the last leg home. This is Aberdeen (and environs) seen from above this morning just before we landed. The coastline to the South is rugged a far as Girdleness (you might just make out the lighthouse) then there is the sandy curve of Aberdeen bay and beyond. Back home again :)
