Close encounter at Altnaharra, with a Red Deer stag on the main road. Apologies that his nose is a bit blurry, and his antlers are cropped, but he wouldn't stay still... and there was none of yer fancy autofocus back when this was taken!

He was young, small, and very tame, as can be seen from the extra.

Travelled North on the bike, from North Berwick to Durness, with the plan to stay in the Youth Hostel. Unfortunately there was some sort of festival on, and everywhere was full for this night. Ended up going along to the next hostel, at Tongue, which thankfully wasn't too far away.
