Mint
Compared with a week ago, when in raging hot sunshine I cut the grass today has been astonishingly cold.. Later night rain on the dog walk filled the house with wet dog coats towels and that strangely named item the waterproof. This achieves success by effectively chaneelling the water down the smoothest past to quickly soak all the clothes not covered. Today the cold remnants of the rain remained in the air for a good part of the day.
And now at the end of the day, I have one still and silent pup surrounded by toys taking a well earned five minutes breather, calling a truce, before she starts chasing her squeaky ball around the kitchehn again. The lull before the storm.
I took the camera on the last dog walk walk but inspiration was on short supply due to the chilly air. This is of the pot of mint the smell of which is hidden by the powerful lilies which I blipped yesterday.
