Getting ahead...

A day of catching up with things after all the Domestic Goddessing and Blipmeeting!  I was attracted by the shape of Rob's head and ears as he sat at my computer sorting out a few things!  Looked interesting against the light...

For those of you who are interested in such things - I phoned the company who had quoted Dad for car insurance and then sent him an email quote for £11,000.  Basically, they said they couldn't insure him for the phone quote of £904 because once he'd said that he wanted to accept it - a day later - that quote was no longer available and they couldn't get any quotes for him because of his age.  So they send through a quote for over £11,000.  I assume they would have been more than happy if an 87 year old man had not been able to read his emails very well and had just phoned up and paid up...
