Accomplishments

The ceiling is up.

And now he's back up there, clearing out the room next door, so he can renew that roof (no ceiling there), and put in a connecting door, just to the right of where he is - we'll have our composting toilet there; everything else will be in this room - it's taking some discussion and planning on how to fit it all in.  All this is just for temporary accommodation, so we can live up there while we build our actual house where the pigsty is now, further up the land.

He's knocked a hole through the wall for the lead from the inverter on the car battery; it will become a window over our bed, which will be high up, over storage. Probably have to sit outside.

My biggest accomplishment was cooking beldroegas (purslane) that I bought in the market, for the first time. They use them a lot here and I know how healthy they are - so had a go - turned out tasty, probably mainly due to the huge amount of whole, paper-on, garlic cloves I was instructed to put in it.
