Mermaid & Palms

I have photographed this statue, as well as the other half dozen scattered throughout the downtown area, a number of times. Because of its location, I have always shot it from the pathway that winds around the rocky headland (delineated by the orange stanchions to her right). This morning, while out in my kayak, I saw a different perspective which allowed me to include the six palm trees that anchor this end of Playa Principal. Always nice to find a different view of something familiar.
