At the recent Bearwood Shuffle in Lightwoods Park, Bearwood, I realised what a great community venue the park actually is.

Sure, live music events such as the Shuffle bring music fans and the curious together but, the park is filled with other things to do. And it's the events, like May Day, a recent drive in movie and the Bearwood on Ice at Christmas time that create a real sense of local community. The flowers are lovely too.
