Haddo House
In the search for somewhere different to go, but not too far away, we headed for Haddo House. We were unaware there was an event taking place there, though the busy car park was a clue.
There were stalls scattered around through the grounds, and rides on a carriage towed by a couple of Clydesdale horses. Huge handsome horses. The weather was not as good as we had in Aberdeen yesterday, a lot cooler but at least it did not rain.
We had quite a long walk around the estate. The gardens are looking very good.
After Haddo we stopped briefly at Pitmedden Garden where we had a coffee before having a fairly quick stroll around the garden. By this time it was quite cloudy as well as cool. We noticed we were the only people in the garden, though there were several people in the tea room.
