Dismantling

This blip which has been in my blip bank for so long, that a monetary equivalent invested in any other bank would have accrued so much interest even at today's rates, that I would have been a wealthy lady.

I first took it when the Tattoo stands in the distance were being assembled, but today I have finally posted it as they are being dismantled.

It's a relief to have withdrawn it from the blipbank at last.

It's always good to meet up with old friends ( I use the expression guardedly) who you only see twice a year on birthdays, but with whom you can carry on where you left off.
So it was this morning with a friend of 36 years standing, appropriately enough with our shared love of books, in the new bookshop at Quartermile

We managed to put the world to rights in an hour and a half, which you could say knocks the efforts of the world's leaders into a cocked hat.
