Sunday: Overlooking Chinatown

I didn't sleep particularly well last night so I have been feeling a tad lethargic today.

We met up with H and J in Chinatown this morning for dim sum. They are just back from a long road trip through BC. It sounds like they had an amazing trip.

That aside, we have had a fairly restful day, culminating in finishing the most recent series of 'House of Cards'.

I recently had a hankering to reread 'River Town' by Peter Hessler, one of my favourite books on China. I read it many years ago when I first lived in China - I enjoyed it just as much second time round.
