Ladybird?

I am cooking this morning, making - for us dieters - a real treat. traditional apple pie. David and Maria and the grandchildren are coming for dinner so its a good excuse.

I do miss baking and making deserts but I only have to look at them to put on weight so its a no go area. I have made the pie with the thinnest of pastry so hope it won't work out to naughty!

This little bug was on a vase of cosmos on the side in the kitchen , my camera was at the ready in the kitchen as well so managed a quick blip, I presume it is a ladybird - just a different colour.

I think I prefer red ladybirds.
