45th Annual Wharf to Wharf Race

Six miles. 16,000 runners. Here we have intrepid racers Mr S, the lovely Miss R, and Treekeeper. I was in charge of Transport and Morale. It's a wonder that folks don't get trampled in this big hurrah, but it all seems to work just fine, year after year. Billed as having the Most Bands per Mile of any similar event, Wharf to Wharf is a huge local fundraiser and a memorable day for people of all ages who come from far and wide to run by the ocean in a pack of exuberant fellowship. It was a fun time, even for those of us who didn't actually run.
