It helps if you introduced yourself to who you're caring for, not just for the patient but also for carers / family visiting.

If you see an NHSLothian member of staff with the wee colourful smiley face on their name badge then they would have been part of the team caring for Mum when she was in hospital earlier in the year.

As a visitor going to a hospital it can be quite confusing when so many different folk it's nice to see a regular face caring for a loved one.

Could be applied elsewhere not just in NHS.
