First Flight With New Feathers

On a lovely Sunday morning whilst leaving the flat to check on Mr and Mr Shy what should I hear but a sound which is music to my ears ..Canada Geese honking as they flew over Castlefield Basin .Out came the camera .As a shot goes it's not brilliant but I love the shape & memory of this special moment and recall  how tears of joy came to my eyes. For these geese the moult is over in as much as their flight feathers are back. Flight, a birds ultimate safety measure is once more theirs. Looking forward to seeing take offs & landings.Then off to Hebden Bridge ..But that as they say is another story----
