For about 355 days per year I struggle to find a photo that is blipworthy, and for around ten days a year I struggle to decide which to blip because I have hit the jackpot.
I think this is a young wren, looking at its mouth. The sparrow population in our garden has easily doubled since the spring, and I think this must be the third brood of the year for this pair. It's been very hot today, so the chicks were by the box opening all day to keep cool.
