Rainy Day

Okay, I'm over it.  It's rained on and off all day long not to mention it's rained  some everyday for a week or so and when it rains like this I find myself cooking (great for the waistline).  So I invited the family over for dinner.  On the menu was homemade French Onion soup (which if I do say so myself, turned out spectacular), a Slaw-Pasta salad, Cheese grits with bacon and sharp cheddar cheese and the main course was fried Grouper Cheeks.  You may be wondering what the hell Grouper Cheeks are.  It's the cheek meat out of a Grouper fish and let me tell you, it's all white meat and so very tender.  I ran across this tasty delicacy once before and was lucky enough to find it again.  Needless to say, we sat outside some between the rain drops and had a wonderful and fun evening.  This dragonfly flew in between the opening and closing of the door and we got him out as soon as I took some pics.
