Street Party

Another day, another festival; this time the Oberestadtfest. This one had beer stands, food stands, kids' activities, dance groups a few local businesses trying to get new customers (the women 'trampolining for fitness' were particularly energetic!) and of course a bandstand. We wandered along in the evening and managed to get an umbrella-shaded spot to sit and chat and keep the beer coolish. Peter and S were up and away regularly to keep Alex entertained but I spent most of the time just people-watching. Bumped into an old friend that we thought was living in Munich but who is in fact just 5 minutes walk away from us! Small world.
