Flowering Cherry (no flowers yet)

When we bought our lovely new magnolia we also purchased this Prunus shimidsu sakura. It should flower in October November and look like this.

If it does an umbrella thing, it will be lovely to sit on the seat underneath and enjoy the shade. Maggie is demonstrating for your information - if you look large you can actually see her mid-explanation!

A nasty wee shake this afternoon, a 4.3. Mother Nature telling us not to get too settled I guess. First one I have felt in ages.
