Managed to get Misty and her two terrier friends out for a walk in Finlandrigg woods before the rain and thunder.   Oh what a lot of rain we've had, lots of torrential downpours.  Haven't seen rain like that for ages.  

Was tempted to try and locate a steam traction engine which is towing  a new steam locomotive undergoing restoration for the Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway (Lla'al Ratty).  It left Carlisle late this afternoon and is now in Workington and will leave in the morning for Ravenglass.  Have seen photos of it on Facebook, it looks great.
