Upton upon Severn

We went with Jo and James to the Upton Blues Festival that is running this weekend. The weather was not promising but we waited for a break in the rain before setting off.  The small town, apparently the smallest town in Worcestershire, was packed with visitors; music was playing throughout the town from the three main stages plus spilling out from the pubs and clubs.

We were able to immerse ourselves in the festive vibe for a couple of hours before the rain started again and we dived into a cafe for tea and coffee.

The main photo is a picture of Steve Ajao playing on one of the main stages.  His group is Steve Ajao Blues Giants, his playing is excellent.  People were dancing in the street.

One extra is a shot of one of the characters attending the festival enjoying the music playing on a separate stage in the Memorial Hall, the other is a couple dancing to the music of Steve Ajao.
