Newport City View

After a load of rain until early afternoon, the weather improved and I headed out to get an aerial photo. The blipfoto is of Newport City Centre looking along the River Usk to Newport Castle at its side.

You can see Rodney Parade Ground which is the home of Newport County F.C., and Newport Gwent Dragons Rugby Football Club. To the right of the photograph is Newport Civic Centre (the clock tower) and on the horizon is the Bristol Channel. For those that know the city you will be able to pick out Uskmouth Power station and Millennium footbridge.
